陳偉殷效力美國職棒邁阿密馬林魚隊，今天在主場先發對亞特蘭大勇士隊，這是他七月進入傷兵名單後，經過二個月養傷，傷後復出的第二場比賽。
陳偉殷投完四局，共用六十二球，被敲四支安打、責失二分，有三次三振、沒有四壞、一次觸身。在球隊三比二領先的優勢，四局下輪到陳偉殷打擊時，教練換代打，結束他今天的投球任務。
陳偉殷傷後復出兩場比賽，分別投六十六球、六十二球，用球數不如過去以一百球為指標，也讓台灣球迷好奇他的傷勢復原狀況。
只差一局就能拿下本季第六勝，陳偉殷賽後回應台灣媒體跨海提問時說，「球隊季後賽還不到無望，總教練不想放掉任何機會，加上自己沒有投復健賽、只有投模擬比賽的關係，變成比較早下來」。
總教練馬丁利表示，提早換投是為了保護陳偉殷，「我知道他會不高興，但我仍把他這幾場先發幾乎視同復健賽」。
